MURDER MYSTERY PARTY

Good morning, everyone! Saturday morning, around 11 AM, alarms start going off on your phones with a reminder for the Murder Mystery Party taking place in the Meeting Hall at noon. You can snooze the alarms at first, but they begin to get a little more insistent after a while if you aren't making progress changing into your formalwear or heading towards the Meeting Hall. Come noon, if you still haven't made any progress, you'll receive a mass text on your phone.

It's on? Okay, hey, guys, please come on down to the Meeting Hall. It's for the best.

If you're still being stubborn, you can probably hold out about fifteen minutes longer before an archway opens right in front of you and pulls you in. The Meeting Hall is comfortable, however. There's plenty of room for everyone to sit or stand, and there's a gentle fire in a furnace lit with candles. There are a few tables in here behind room dividers. One of the tables has a brunch spread and one of the tables is empty except for a sign that says Body Examination. There's also a corkboard with pins, with a photo of Kumon already pinned to it, and some notebooks and pens available for taking.

When you arrive, Bass, a little pixelated static blob, attempts to climb on top of Steel, and shouts: Nice! You guys made it. C'mon, this is gonna be fun, promise.

Steel, a humanoid-sized shadowy figure today, seems to almost bend directly out the way of Bass. Stepping to the side. Let us commence.

Hello, and welcome to your first trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about Kumon's mysterious murder! Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).
