[the archway opens. it’s dark inside, besides the gently falling gray and white dust all around. everyone feels frozen in place, almost as if in fear, unable to approach it or react.
only kazuma will be able to step forward into the archway. he feels as though he’s in something of a trance, walking through into the darkness, unable to stop himself or resist. but it doesn’t feel bad in there. it feels numb, and cold, a void, absent of feeling, like the dead of going to sleep. after the weekend kazuma has had, perhaps that feels nice.
and then he opens his eyes, abruptly, like he’s waking from a nightmare. everyone waiting back in the central node can see as kazuma seems to come back to himself, and through the large archway and the tears in the air around them, they can see the dark void swirl with color and begin to shift.]
