Every pattern in the sand is scuffed, the torii gates and palaces and trees at the edges all retreat back into nothingness and dust.
There’s a little cat band playing that abruptly stops, the last notes of Mambo No. 5 fading into silence. The deep gorge in the middle of the arena beginning to stitch itself back together already, all of the energy in the air starting to disperse - suddenly it feels almost oppressively empty in here again, all of the pink and red and orange fading away from the edges, the tears in reality reforming themselves.
She stands on her feet again, ignoring all of you to go retrieve her sword, and then pulling up another pink quartz arch and stopping in front of it, observing you all.]
