Wow... well then. Things certainly happened, didn't they? It seems as though things have calmed down once again in the Prism after the events of this weekend. You have lodging and food now, and while the area is still cold and monochrome in some places you've restored and gained access to four colorful spaces.

In the morning, everyone receives a text on their phones. Or, a picture with a text, actually.

BEHOLD

At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. Perhaps you wish to take a look?

For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own.

Before you venture too far, though, make sure you take a moment to check out the booth in the lobby of the apartments. Seems like it's not broken anymore!

So much excitement for one day. Maybe take a moment to evaluate how you're feeling. Some of you might have gained or lost a color as time moved on. Not just that, though. Throughout the course of this week you will find yourself coming into the possession of a new talent that belongs to someone else. Other times, you'll find that you've lost your own talents and are unable to perform as expected. That's cumbersome, isn't it? Look on the bright side! Maybe you'll discover a new hobby this way.

Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

► Good morning... it's quiet, for now.

► Monday, throughout the rest of the day, you feel the sudden urge to tell someone a sad story from your past. This impulse is particularly strong if you have marine shades.

► It is hailing ripe peaches in the vicinity of the carnival and hot springs for several hours in the afternoon. When they hit the ground, they splat in a sticky, warm fluid.

WEDNESDAY, LATE 🌙

► Sometime Wednesday evening, sometime after this, something seems to happen. Wherever you are, there's suddenly a flash of colors, like a strobe light. Everything around you, your surroundings, even you suddenly go a deep blue and then a bright red, blinking to a blinding yellow and then back to a soft pale pink and again to a deep purple. This goes on for about a half hour, flashing different colors, and then ends as abruptly as it began. But you get the sense something is wrong...

THURSDAY, MORNING

► There is a swarm of bees in the infinity closet. They will try to sting you, especially if you have sunrise shades.

►The library is infested with monsters. They will force you to complete a crossword puzzle, a five letter word puzzle, or a game of hangman. If you fail, they will attack and try to electrify you. Color wards them off.

► Throughout the day every so often there are bright flashes of color, one at a time and shorter than what happened Wednesday night. You get the sense something is definitely amiss.

[what a cozy room! jiuqing has no idea what space jam is, but when she sees that the only movie here is space jam, she figures it must be there because someone thinks it's good, so after a bit of time to figure out how to start up a movie, she puts it on.

while it's playing in the background, she half pays attention to it while looking through the cabinets to see what else is here. battleship... candyland... betrayal at house on the hill...? she doesn't know any of these games. they look interesting, though. you can catch her at any point reading through the instructions for any game you think would be funny to have them play.

[ aaaaaa kazunari feels like a kid in a candy store! even just a week without his usual art supplies has left him feeling antsy and restless and itching to draw again, especially as he checks out the half-finished paintings. ]

Hot Springs

[So. Did you know that tigers love swimming?

Atsushi will spend a good chunk of the week swimming and floating around and relaxing in both the male and the everyone hot springs. Chances are high that you might find him dozing off in the warm water. Chances are equally high that you might find him being a water-shark and grabbing ankles to spook people for laughs.]

[At some point he does have to get out of the water though, and he has gone all pruny! So now he's staring at his wrinkly fingertips with a look of vague discomfort and anxiety on his face.]

Atsushi is burying himself in the fiction section and has made a fortress out of a pile of books. Every so often he trades out one book for another and keeps reading.

If you go near him, you'll actually hear him reading a story out loud! Who is he reading to? Good question! But he's definitely got that voice like he's reading to someone else. Also, all the books he's reading are stories with low stakes and happy endings. Come listen to him read, or figure out who he's reading to!]
