WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

Instead, he just glares at Atsushi. ]
What.

I was, ah, just wondering if it was alright or not.
no subject
Are you trying to get me to attack you?
no subject
[This guy is obviously like twice his size, Atsushi isn't that stupid.]
no subject
Then don't question my strength. [ Anyway, he gestures at the garbage. ] Are there more?
no subject
I, er, maybe at that building?
[He points to one of those hot dog stands, maybe there's some left behind in nasty water or something.
He is. Absolutely going to let Garou eat whatever wants to. Because Atsushi doesn't want to get food poisoning so he's waiting to see if Garou reacts to it or not.]

He walks over to the hot dog stand without much concern, yanking open the little containers with the condiments, and finding only the one with corn containing something.
He picks up a single kernel. ]
... It's hard.
no subject
Is that popcorn? If it is, you're supposed to heat it up first to make it soft.
no subject
[ Gross. He flicks it at Atsushi. ]
no subject
[The kernel bounces off of his forehead.]
hm
that actually... makes him laugh ]

[ He peels the remains of a sliced red onion off the cart and holds it out. ]
Hungry?
no subject
[HE SEES THAT ONION IT'S GROSS]

[ flicks the onion at him ]

If you're just going to keep being like this then I'm going to walk away.
