WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[Well it's not like he really has the strength to fight this, so he allows it.]
Do you know where we are?

[she shakes her head.]
I only woke up a few moments or so ago, as you did.

That kinda thing!

[she pauses.]
I don't think I've ever heard of a story like that before.
no subject
Aah, it's too bad he's not here, I bet he'd know exactly what to do.

[they've also never mentioned japan in her canon so i'm assuming she just doesn't know what country that is. anyway!]
Hmm, well... even when someone isn't here, you can sometimes figure out what they'd do if you think about it a little, can't you? What do you think he would say to you right now if he was standing here with you?

[so... just people, then.]
Looking for locals probably isn't a bad idea, though I have to admit I'm concerned about your fever.

What's your name? I'm Su Jiuqing.

Um... should I use the whole name? [What's the most polite here?]

[she'll dust it off a little before helping him sit down.]
Let's get some rest for now. How is the rest of you feeling? You've got a fever, but are you experiencing any aches or pains, or any other symptoms?
no subject
Hmm... I think it's just exhaustion?
no subject
When did you begin feeling exhausted?
no subject
[Sometimes the adrenaline keeps the exhaustion at bay.]
