WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

This is a useless conversation.
[ AND HE TURNS AROUND TO LEAVE!!! ]
no subject
That's what somebody who can't climb would say!!
no subject
I can climb just fine, I just would rather not be in your company!
no subject
anyway still sounding just terribly amused: ]
Suuurre you can. If you say so.
no subject
What do you hope to get out of these incendiary comments? That I'll be angry enough to try to join you up there? You've made it clear there's nothing to be seen, and furthermore that your company is not to be desired.
no subject
We've barely met. [ rude! ] See anything better down there?
no subject
[ Curtly enough, crossing his arms over his chest. ]
Nothing but greys and more greys.
no subject
[ why be on the ground when you can be tall ] Better to have vantage of the lay of the land that exists, if you ask me.
no subject
You can look from up there all you like, but you won't know the streets.
[ ...Actually he would rather be on a rooftop just like Vax but now he just refuses to climb up there manually. ]
no subject
[ fucking rogues ]
You don't really seem like the up close and personal type, big guy! Wouldn't have taken you for it.
no subject
What... is that supposed to mean?
[ ??? ]
no subject
You know. Rubbing elbows with the other kidnappees, making conversation, getting into people's personal space on the streets. [ get out of his bubble ] Things like that.
no subject
...Looks down at Vax. He has the gall to look a tad surprised for a second at their about-8-inch difference. ]
You will be doing none of that with me... [ Especially the rubbing elbows bit, whatever that's supposed to mean. ]
...How old are you?
