WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

I'd like to say yes but... The scouting isn't come up with very much. Some edible items, but mostly just plenty of hauntings.

It's def a witch.
no subject
[he believes her instantly]
What kind of witch?
no subject
[ it's said matter-of-factly. she gestures around them. ]
We'll probably have to punch them really hard. This seems to be some powerful stuff.
no subject
[he's just nodding and mentally taking notes (not really but like spiritually)]
I can manage some punching. Just point me where!
no subject
[ hmmm. ]
Nothing to punch yet. We'll need to investigate further.
no subject
[what's the lore]
I see, I see. Do you have any suggestions? I've tried to scout as far as I can - but I feel like I'm still missing something.
no subject
[ where are you finn.... she's thinking of you ]
Missing what? A map?
no subject
[but he shakes his head]
No... Just a sense that there's more to be found. It's hard to explain! It's just as hard to explain as why I get fatigued much faster looking for things here.
no subject
[ hm..... ]
Or maybe there's a secret passage somewhere here.
no subject
[help]
A secret passage would be interesting though! Hmmm, we'd have to be really thorough to find it.
[it's secret you dumb bitch]
no subject
[ a nod. ]
It might be hidden under some trash or a bush. We'll have to have someone poke everything.
no subject
[he's going to be shoving his face into bushes all weekend]
no subject
Oh, I'm Pri-- you can call me Bubblegum.
no subject
that's so many syllables]
I'm Buzen! It's nice to meet you, Bubble-san.
no subject
[ bubble... san.....
she accepts this. ]
Have you spoken to anyone else here yet? I'm still making my way around.
no subject
if she accepts it then no problem]
I have! There's more people here than I anticipated - I've counted a little under forty as I've looked around.
no subject
That's a pretty decent sized tea party. Know anyone?
