WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[He already doesn't mind this guy. Someone to bounce a comment with is always welcome]
Of course the other possibility is that it isn't hell, in which case the mystery is where we are at right now. Any thoughts?
no subject
[ that's sarcasm, naturally... ]
Yeah, my first guess was an unwelcoming void is consuming us all. But who's to say.
no subject
There's still time for a void to kill us all, but for now staying here won't lead to any answers. Are you planning to check somewhere else?
[November sure is]

[Not really. As he sees it, staying where everyone is will make it likelier for things to get messy during a confrontation. If he's with one person then he probably will be able to fight back if this guy tries to attack him once they're some distance away.
Looking around with raised eyebrows, though...]
There doesn't seem to be anything of interest in our vicinity. Only a dead tree and a clock.
no subject
Yeah, things are a whole lot more Return to Oz than Wizard of Oz around here.

[November chooses the nearest arch -- unbeknown to him the one leading to the temple -- and begins walking towards it]
The complete lack of color everywhere is so strange, though...! It's unnatural.
no subject
Sorry, were there other parts about this that seemed natural to you?

[Being brought to strange places is nothing new -- at least this time the clothes stay on instead of just his body getting teleported sans clothes. Meeting a bunch of sketchy people is pretty much what he does all the time, for various work reasons. The hostility and generally unwelcome personalities some people have are familiar, too, although that can partly be blamed on November being himself. As charming as he can be and as much as his team like him, more often than not the people who have to work with him find him annoying, that's for sure]
Other than the lack of color none f this seems particularly alarming to me. I'd be more--
[November disappears when he tries to take a closer look at the arch. Just blinks out of existence!]

guess this dude is just used to teleporting to new places. damien does not follow him at first because he is too startled. ]
no subject
The arches take you somewhere else. It seems to be safe. Careful when you approach them.

[Mostly because it could mean other things in this bizarre monochrome location may have strange properties and effects too. That's alarming!]
no subject
So? Where'd you warp off to? Not home, I assume.
no subject
[He'd have preferred something that probably holds answers, not a shrine!]
