WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

Why is he so chatty when they are both screaming after being startled?! Hers is at least a short scream.]
Stop, don't scare me like that! Nothing is down there! That's the problem!
no subject
You scared me! [A HUFF. But he'll step away after that, at least, giving her a once-over.]
But you're okay, yeah? Not hurt or anything? Ugh... [Glancing over her shoulder down the SPOOKY ALLEY.] There's seriously nothing down there?
no subject
And full of depression.]
There wasn't anything down there. [But now she's embarrassed because it seems like she was running from nothing?!] It just made me feel weird!
no subject
If it gave you a bad feeling, then it's probably best that we get away from it, yeah? C'mon, let's go-- Ah! My name's Kashuu, by the way.
no subject
Yeah, we should. [Which is what she was doing when she ran him over.] Kashuu-san.
Um, Hiyama Chinatsu.

[KASHUU IMPORTANT THINGS ARE HAPPENING but look, complimenting cute things is also important. He'll just move to stand between her and the alley before starting to move away from the creepy alley... He'll also keep chattering away as they go, but it's clear he's keeping his guard up at the same time just in case something ATTACKS.]
Just wondering, but have you been seeing a bunch of weird shadows and stuff around here, too...? Like, not in the alley, but just - around. In general.
no subject
Thank you...
[Who the fck is this man really? She's 100% dreaming or whatever, and will just wake back up beside idiot Tatara soon... ALSO, she very quickly follows him out of the spooky alley because that place was terrible.]
Shadows...? [DON'T SAY IT, IT'S SCARY.] I thought it was just me...
no subject
But then it's back to serious business. AWAY FROM THE ALLEY... Even though there's not really anywhere else to go.]
Nah, I think most of us have seen some weird stuff around here. Have you been over to the shrine yet...?
no subject
It’s just the alley……..so they have to head back through the archway. Help.]
Yes! [Teenage desperation.] It looked the most like home, but there was something weird there behind the doors!
