WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[Probably.]

We should find you a place to rest. [ Even if everything around them looks like shit... ]
no subject
[He could really use it, honestly.]
no subject
There are benches, but that might be a little uncomfortable... will you be okay with that? I'll stay with you so you don't have to worry.

no subject
Sure! Though it is a bit chilly... [ She tugs him over to a nearby bench! One that doesn't look like it's about to fall apart. Take a seat, binch. ]
no subject
[He was a little preoccupied with his collapse.
A seat is taken!]
no subject
I would argue that everything about this place is weird.
no subject
[...!?]
Do you think some monster came by and drained all the color in this world??? Are we supposed to get it back?!
no subject
[ She offers their surroundings a quick look around. ]
Perhaps. But that begs the question of who is giving us that responsibility.
no subject
Did you sign any weird contracts or anything like that?
no subject
I'm... not in any particular situation where I would, no. Last I remember I was in a hospital.
no subject
no subject
[ funny how that worked hahaha ]
Plus, it was within a virtual world.
no subject
no subject
Yes! Though it wasn't really much fun after we figured out where we were, haha.
no subject
Eh? Really? I always thought being sucked into a computer would be pretty exciting.
no subject
But not so much where I'm from, unfortunately.
no subject
I'm sorry it was such a bad experience for you.
no subject
There's nothing to apologize for. It's life... !
[ Except not. ]
So what is it that you did to get yourself so sick?
no subject
Ah... I got a little sick and I pushed through to do a performance. So I ended up exhausted, is all.
no subject
no subject
He's thinking about it, but he gives a little nod.]
Okay, I will.
no subject
And don't try to pretend that you're not sick, okay? I'll get mad.
no subject
[It shouldn't happen again, probably? He hopes.]
