WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

Whoa—sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you! Though, um, you probably shouldn't have been covering your face in the first place...

Just kidding. She holds her chest or her heart is going to pop out of it.]
I was just trying to get out of the alley. It's--as weird as everywhere else here.
no subject
Can't say I'm surprised by that... was there something scary down that way?
no subject
Not... really. [She gets a bit flustered because it sounds embarrassing now.] It just made me feel weird.
no subject
If you want, we can feel weird, together!
no subject
No! Don't go in there, it's creepy.

no subject
We should go back the way we came.

[ as she makes an encouraging fist with one hand, she holds out the other expectantly. ]
no subject
She hesitantly regards the extended hand... looks away, embarrassed, for a long moment. And then takes it.]
no subject
Aw, c'mon, no need to be shy. I don't bite!
