Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.

Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.

Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.

Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to chroma! While characters have access to the locations available, they do not have access to anything else including their home items. Please note that characters do not know what their primary color or complementary colors are as of yet, and IC profiles are not in-play at this time.

Things of note!

► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.

I figured it must be a surprise training camp or something. Though these sets are way over the Frooch's budget. Last time, he just took us to a deserted island.

A surprise training camp for what, exactly?

[Oh well. He put the sunglasses on anyway. Even though they're useless as an accessory may as well try to use it to make himself look a little foolish. Making others around here lower their guard will give him time to assess the situation and decide his course of action]

If it's Frooch, it's definitely for acting. If it's anyone else who brought us here... I don't know.

Acting? That sounds harmless. Let's hope this is all a misguided acting camp. I could use the vacation.

Mm... It's a little intense for any acting camps I've been to, but it could just be a really immersive set! It could really use some color, though, if you ask me.

True art is angsty, haven't you heard? The gray setting is meant to represent the inner conflicts of our souls, and the constant cold the unforgiving world.

Ohhhhh, I see what you mean! It's a metaphor! Sooo deep!

But I don't think art has to be that way. I always liked it more when I was having fun with it.

Oh, I agree completely! Life is too short to focus only on the depressing stuff.

[And that includes arts! Fun stuff is better!]

I could do some stand-up comedy to brighten up the situation if necessary. I know a few jokes that are bound to get some...reactions out of people.

[He chuckles, imagining the reactions will be groans and sighs. He knows very well his joking either is inappropriately morbid, or it's bad and groan-worthy]

Good reactions, right? You gotta make 'em laugh!

A reaction is a reaction. Anything that isn't them staring at you blankly is a victory.

Eh, but it's no good if they're not having fun is it? You don't want them to leave in the middle of the show because it's boring or something.

I suppose you're not wrong!

[Cheerful, he turns it around:]

You too have something to brighten the mood, don't you? What would you do?

Hmmm... Usually I'm riffing with my troupe-mates, so it's a lot easier to make people laugh. You just keep things like and play off the absurdity, and you get tons of laughs!

Ah, wonderful. If you come up with a routine for two people I wouldn't mind taking part of it. It would be fun.

[And truthfully something lighthhearted is nice when everything else is heavy and grim, really]

Oh, we could even make it for three if Kumopi's down! It would be great practice for him, too!

That's him! So you've already met, huh?

I certainly did. Was this the first time you met him?

[Either this one goes straight into nicknames upon meeting strangers, or Kumon and this one already knew each other even before being brought here, he thinks. Both seem pretty plausible]

Haha, nope! We've known each other for a while now. We're even in the same troupe!

[He nods, accepting that tidbit]

Were you together right before your arrival here?

[dms]

Hmm, we were both at the dorm, but not together? The last thing I remember was being in my room with Mukkun.

Odd...why would they bring you and a person some distance away when there was someone else right there?

[Seems a little random! November can't help it, he begins mulling it over, trying to find some way to make it have any sense]

That is a little weird, now that I think about it. I don't think a kidnapper would care that he was busy with his homework, either?
