WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

That makes me feel a little better. [only bc sjq said so,] It's always nice to have something in common with a bunch of strangers.
[IS IT??]

[or, like, being kidnapped. but jiuqing hasn't really seen any signs of a struggle on herself, so she's not sure if that's actually what's happened here.]
Why don't we take a look around? Moving might help you feel warmer, and we can get some information about where we've ended up.
[two birds, one stone!]

So, Jiu-chan, [or would su-chan be better? hm, they can decide on that later!!] have you ever heard of or seen a place like this before?

she shivers, drawing her silks a little tighter around herself as they walk. it does nothing to alleviate the cold, but she's stubborn, so she doesn't say anything.]
No, I haven't. I have to admit this is new to me.

I wish I could say that I have, but it's the same for me. I can't even tell how we got here. I was on a ship before this, and it was airborne and everything.
