WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[so many of you people INSIST you're humans, something is up somewhere.]

[...just what sort of humans has this guy met? But November is glad the height is the point that brings doubt instead of something else. His status as a Contractor can stay hidden, good. Stil, he tries to subtly reinforce that and redirect the conversation at the same time, for his own sake:]
Regardless, what we all are is probably irrelevant right now. That we are here may be a little more of a pressing issue.

[but, with a wave of his hand:]
Our current predicament does merit our attention, yes, but it seems it is one that will not be so easily solved.

[November manages to keep a straight face while saying that. He's not one to be using such questions -- it feels naive to even utter it, but hey, he judges the answer may reveal a lot about this...tall person's temperament]

[a huff of an exhale, there. of course he will-- but he won't admit to it so easily. he's not here for all these small creations to start thinking he's too soft, thank you.]

That's true. I suppose we're all locked into an uneasy truce, just for the sake of escaping this problem.
[Still amused, he inclines his head]
Oh, my manners. I'm Jack Simon, mister.
