WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[ she watches them kick and looks disappointed when nothing happens ]
Weak. Let me give it a shot with my good ol' fashioned turning the doorknob skills. [ there is no doorknob, but she's still giving it a go. nothing happens... seemingly, but she looks a little ??? at it and then at clarte ]

break down the door again]

[ but like. she helps and tries to kick the door down as well anyway? ]

[unfortunately there is no wall they can try to break down so they will stare at this door as though they're contemplating another plan]

[ she follows, dragging her feet a little. walking sucks. ]
I didn't see any sticks near here, but we could always break one off the clock tree.

It's worth a shot. [...] Are you having difficulty walking?

I'd offer to carry you, but that would probably just be even slower.

[ she does think it's hilarious. anyway she looks at the bridge critically ]
Could always break off part of the bridge for our stick.

[ bleh. let's walk over the bridge then ]
I'm totes up to breaking stuff in the mansion for our stick instead though.
