WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

a...
Oh my god, you're the world's biggest life-saver—!
suplexes you
Hey now, this is a team effort. A 'what's good for you is good for me' kind of thing.
[DID HE WRAP UP HIS BURN? IS IT LIKE OUT THERE? EXPOSED?]
STOP THIS
I guess so, yeah. I gotta say, I've never really had "might totally freeze to death in the elements" as a concern that I've had to worry about on any team I've been on, though...
[ALSO YEAH IT'S JUST OUT THERE. There might be some cloth around it depending on what Clarte finagled but. YEEHAW HIS FINGIES.]
i can't stop my suplexing hands
Yeah? Is it really warm where you're from? [TEAMS? WHAT?]
suplexes your hand off
Uh... Yeah. [Nailed it. Damn, he's doing so good at this being human thing.] So I've only heard stuff about how humans react to the cold! And it never sounds good.
[So close and yet so far.]
mahitos them back
Well, you're not wrong. That's pretty much the truth. Your hands get all clumsy when it's super cold, and then you can suffer frostbite and die.
[a few steps were skipped but whatever]
I don't think it'll get that drastic though, as long as someone else is around.
eXCUSE ME
Anyway Kashuu's just nodding solemnly because that sounds about what he knows of humans and how frostbite and hypothermia works. They're so fragile! They die so quickly!]
True, true. We might wanna build a fire, but I guess it's not like we'll have to worry about it getting colder when the sun sets...
[Looking up at the grey, nondescript sky.]
i, goofy, have voltroned myself with mahito
It could always start raining. [he shudders at his own curse, then pats Kashuu on the back a couple of times] I guess we better look for shelter before either of that happens. Do you know if there's a building nearby?
[because itsuki has done nothing close to exploring, he just wanted to snuggle]
why would you make me read these words
There's a house over that way, but it's really creepy and has a fire that doesn't actually feel warm. Don't touch it, though. [JUST SAYING.] Aaand there's a shrine that way, but there's something locked up inside of it that seems kinda pissed.
i only speak the truth
why would he touch the fire.... kashuu....]
...I've slept in worse places. [HE THINKS] I'll take my chances with the house, I guess.
[looks at kashuu's fingies]
-- Did you burn yourself?
i banish thee
Also sometimes you're born from fire and don't think it could betray you in such a way. It's still fine.]
Really? [Peering up at him... gnarly.] That's kinda surprising.
[This man looks so squishy... But Kashuu will take the chance to start tugging him in the direction of the mansion! It also gives him a good excuse to not look him in the eye when he answers this question!!]
Uh... just a little.
ahyucks sadly
This was by accident, right?
[why guilt, cashew kiyomitts]
i hope they can both fall off the bridge together
--Basically! Yeah! [Like, it was an accident in that he accidentally assumed... fire that didn't warm him up wouldn't burn him... IT'S FINE.]
Anyway! Stuff's weird so don't let your guard down - that's the gist. [Trust NOTHING. Trust NO FIRE.] --Oh, yeah! What's your name, anyway? Mine's Kashuu.
WHAT WHY
[he's kind of amused with Kashuu's energy? he got burned but he's out here vibing? if itsuki got burned then he'd just lie down and use that as an excuse never to do work again, hm]
ITD BE FUNNY
Oh, that's cute! Not bad at all. [Buzen (handshake emoji) Itsuki, giving Kashuu randomass nicknames. His only regret is that he's keeping his other name secret so no one Recognizes Him Historically... Kiyo-kun is the cutest!!]
You've got a nice name, too. Itsuki - tsuki like the moon, right?
[STOP FLIRTING IT'S THE MIDDLE OF A MONOCHROME HELLVOID. He really did just stick his hand in a fire and then go "time to go befriend the local otome route".]
