WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

She tilts her head. ]
Europe? [ Does she know a Europe? ] No, I'm afraid I'm not from Europe. Where are you from that you know shrines like this? [ A pause. ] Even if the name might be foreign to me.

Huh. [He doesn't know much about foreign countries so he truly doesn't even know what to ask about next, good work Kashuu... So instead, he just answers her question!]
I'm from Japan. This style of shrine is pretty popular all through Asia, though.

[ Probably. Maybe. ]
The place I was last is called Yggdrasil.

He sure doesn't look like he recognizes the sound of that country, though, and he shakes his head a little.]
I'm pretty sure there's nothing that sounds like that where I'm from, either. Geez... Talk about a major headache! Any time I think I've figured something out, I'm back to square one.
[What the heck could possibly be behind this if not the retrograde army?? HIS BRAINCELL IS TOO SMALL.]

[ That way, you can hear your dumbness or smartness in real time. ]

Mm... Well, there are people here from tons of places I haven't heard of before. Aaand if I had to guess, probably from different times, too, since someone- [VIN.] -didn't know you shouldn't touch stuff in labs 'cuz it might be a biohazard. Sooo I'm guessing we might've fallen into some kinda crack in time, basically. Or we've been put here on purpose by something, but I'm not really sure what. Unless everyone here's majorly important...

Hmm.... ]
Are you an important figure? I don't think it's some kind of hostage for ransom situation, but it sounds like you're used to... dealing with time.
