WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

Hence Seven Hells.
[ He isn't a historian in this respect, but eh. ]

[Filing that one under trivia!]
Regardless, this probably isn't hell. I was kidding about that, of course -- but that doesn't mean this place is harmless. Just being here means it's dangerous.
[Usually getting brought anywhere against your will makes that place bad news]

Fortunate for us, no hostiles have shown themselves and we have yet come to harm.
[ The last part he's kind of like. Unsure to say. Because some people are trying to touch the fire in the mansion later. ]
There may be a common factor found between our numbers... Otherwise, I'm afraid there's little to be discovered of our arrival.

[November isn't guessing it will be everyone killing each other, though! He's envisioning kidnappers coming to attack, pretty much]
So you don't see anything in common between all of us? Nothing at all?
[He's encouraging wild guessing! At this point wild guessing isn't so wild!]

[ Aymeric isn't naive enough to think they won't be met with difficulties. But damn. Wishes that wasn't the case. ]
Our differences are our common thread. That and we're people.
[ The last one is really the lowest hanging fruit, he's aware. ]

So you would say we're all so different from each other it's noteworthy. Interesting way of looking at it.
[It's an interesting answer and he likes it]

Aye, I believe so. It can become our strength in the future as well. Different perspectives and experiences lend well.

Of course that depends on if everyone else will be willing to listen to everyone else's different perspectives. People can be quite stubborn sometimes.
