WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

That said, his wonderful planned meeting where he'd just saunter over and be like "oh it's Yasusada, huh, so you're here too I guess" and totally not show how worried or stressed he is is RUINED by the unnerving banging noises.]
Yasusada—!!
[WHY DOES HE SOUND ACCUSATORY.]
no subject
--which is honestly what Yasusada is gonna do?? After he jumps at the sound of his name, anyway, spinning around to see his dingus partner in his amore dress. GOD. It's been so long since they've seen each other for more than short bursts and yet here Yasusada is, POINTING VIGOROUSLY]
Kiyomitsu!!! What is all this?! [WHY DOES HE ALSO SOUND ACCUSATORY]
no subject
—What the hell? [OKAY BUT ALSO SETTING HIS BAFFLEMENT ASIDE--] And why are you asking me like I know?! I just woke up here, same as every other person I've run into!
no subject
also blinking at his foam armor wtf--BUT YEAH MORE IMPORTANTLY and also POKING KASHUU BACK]
Because you've been gone for ages! Wouldn't you know if something was weird?!
[This doesn't make any sense at all and also hi or whatever... he guesses.......]
no subject
Obviously I don't! I was literally just in the middle of a show! What were you doing?
[Not that he's WORRIED OR ANYTHING.]
no subject
[So he didn't really bother asking any questions
Anyway the point is HE WAS AT HOME AND YOU WEREN'T SIR]
Your show was normal? Then why... [are they in this FUNKY FRESH COLORLESS VOID WITH A DEMON TEMPLE]
no subject
[He says, IMMEDIATELY SALTY THAT HE'S NEVER HAD AN UTA-AWASE JUST FOR HIM??? Even though he's off doing his own solo lives, okay Kashuu.]
But yeah, it was. Nothing weird happened and it wasn't like there were any enemies nearby by the end of it, so...
[So who shoved them into a crack in time???]
no subject
There are humans here, and there's definitely at least one person here who isn't human, but that doesn't really help...
[Help figure out where or WHEN they are, but also!! He looks up suddenly, grabbing Kashuu's hand and shaking it urgently]
I don't have me! My blade! I can't find it anywhere.
no subject
There are a few people who aren't human, but I don't think they're one of us, either?
[Poor Buzen, left out in the cold... BUT ANYWAY. HE LOOKS A LITTLE SURPRISED FIRST because of the suddenness of the gesture, but then his brow's furrowing. That's something he could ignore when it was just him BUT NOW THAT IT'S ALSO YAMS HIS PANIC IS RETURNING.]
--Yeah, neither can I. Hey... Can you feel it? Like, at all?
no subject
[Let alone a sword!!
Anyway he shakes his head.]
No, nothing.
no subject
...Hey... What does that mean? [Why is he asking Yams like he has any more of a braincell??] D'you think we're gonna demanifest soon?
no subject
...if it was that, then something would be wrong with these bodies, wouldn't it? [Looking down at their joined hands, and then reaching up to pat his own face with the other.] If we were damaged that badly, then it would show.
[Hell if he knows what else it could be, though... some kind of a magic barrier?]
no subject
We would, yeah, but how long can these bodies actually hold up on their own if our connection's been blocked somehow? Between us and aruji, or between us and our swords. None of us have ever spent a super long time away from ourselves before...
[Kashuu sweating like WHAT IF THE MAGIC RUNS OUT AND WE TURN BACK INTO PUMPKINS AT MIDNIGHT.]
no subject
The rest of it though, yeah, um. Hm. Bad. Bad!!! He doesn't like this at all wtf. If only Horikawa were here to be the braincell of reason...]
Well, they have to be around here somewhere, right? I had mine with me, so someone probably just took it. If we keep looking, we'll find them.
[spoken with ALL THE CONVICTION OF DENIAL.]
no subject
[He says, not knowing shit about dead worlds yet, presumably. Except maybe aruji can still reach them there???? Since they can travel there willingly??? WHO KNOWS. Anyway.]
I had mine on me too, so... [So. MAYBE YAMS IS RIGHT. Maybe his denial won't lead them astray this time.] ...Well. It's not like there's tons of places to look here, so we'll just have to keep looking.
