WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

—A thief? Huh?
[ he can't even begin to touch on her question, because he has no idea what she's talking about. oops. ]
no subject
[she bumped into him?? and it was gone before, she just didn't realize it until afterwards. please save ryunosuke x 2.]
Turn out your pockets.

I promise I only have lint! I guess you can have it if you want?
no subject
Promises mean nothing. Show me.
no subject
Ah...
[ (It's probably bad that I'm getting used to this.)
he shuffles to turn out his pockets, which are indeed sadly filled with lint and probably like a piece of obliterated paper he forgot to take out before the wash. she can... have it......? he'll offer it to her because he's alarmed. ]
I don't have anything else. Sorry...
no subject
What is this?
no subject
...Grocery list, maybe? In a past life, anyway.
[ it's clearly dead now ]
no subject
Why did you give me your grocery list?
[because you asked him to turn out his pockets? vin?]
no subject
S—Sorry. It just seemed like you wanted something...
[ .......is this his fault? he's lost track. ]
Um, does that mean you're missing your things?
no subject
[to both of his statements, honestly. she's still staring at him like she's trying to decide if there's another place other than his pockets he could be hiding whatever it is she was assuming he took... before she sighs.]
Fine.
[it was always fine. he did nothing wrong.]
no subject
Hmm... It's better to go looking as soon as it's gone. [ if it was stolen. before the thief can get too far. ] I can help, if you want.
no subject
Why do you want to help?
[back to square one i guess]
