WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[Magic...............she says, a bit dubiously. As if she's not a character from JJBA and magic punching ghosts.]
Mm. Yes. [Following him and also moving to start looking through the mess.] Hot Pants. You?

you know what ]
Okay. Sure, yeah. [ scanlan would love this. this is burt reynolds all over again. he's not actually sure if he will be able to say her name with a straight face so he just goes with the better option. ] Vax.
[ best to just introduce himself, patting his chest once and then resuming his search, mouthing 'hot pants' when he's facing away. ]

[ARE YOU SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT HER NAME, SIR. just staring at his back, before she turns to the mess, and just says, deadpan:]
Vaccine, huh.
no subject
[ i hate this actually ]
Vax'ildan.
no subject
...You don't know what a vaccine is?

[ ??????????????? ]
no subject
[Hm.]
You've never gotten smallpox, have you?
no subject
No? Fuck, I hope not. Try to avoid anything with 'pox' in the name. What the hell is it?
[ sounds like an std ]
no subject
[Tilts her head.]
Guess you're still at risk of getting it even with a name like that.
no subject
[ weird. he definitely thinks this is an std now. well... ] ... Getting sick's not really a problem I have, anyway.
[ ...anyway, ] You don't just see a cleric for that kind of stuff? Nothing that Pickle couldn't take care of in a second.
no subject
[Now that makes her eyebrows furrow.]
Mm. There are clerics and that sort of thing that can provide aid, but usually, one would just go to see a doctor.
no subject
[ what is wrong with people ] Shit, I can heal most of the time. Usually less diseases and more grievous injury, but, process's the same.
[ probably ]
no subject
[hmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMM]
I see. Where I come from, no one has an ability like that. [...] Almost no one.
