A bittersweet victory, isn't it? You solved everything this past weekend. No mysteries were left unsolved, and now things seem to have settled down. Of course, there's surely plenty on your mind by now. As always though, time marches on. You must keep moving ever onward.

At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. The Prism is opening itself to you all, showing you what it's capable of, and providing you with space to explore.

For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own. But even before you leave the apartments, perhaps you'd like to pay a visit to the gumball machine in the lobby.

Strange. Some of you may have gained or lost a color since this time last week, but it's not like many of you will ever tell. In fact, many of you are very, very bad at sharing. Many of you continually suppress your own emotions whether for the sake of others, or in order to go unnoticed. It's hard to say what your motivations are sometimes. This week, however, the suppression... isn't exactly for the best. You may feel a strange twinge in your chest, a slightly uncomfortable tickle in your throat, and then before you can stop it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. All different shades, all representing your hidden feelings, this disease takes its hold and infects everyone in the Prism. Too bad the timing isn't always the most convenient either.

Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

Things of note:
► This week's effect is hanahaki! Yup. For all suppressed emotions characters may be feeling, after some time they'll find themselves coughing up flowers in different colors representing those feelings.
► The flowers can be any type you want for the aesthetic. It can be one or two flowers, or it can be a lot of them. Whichever way you wish to play it is fine.
► Moida submissions continue to be open!

[ The hand will. Probably hurt? But there's healing spells around, I'm sure. Luckily for him, the stab right to the center of it and Vax's weight on it will stop it in its path - recoiling and curling up before retreating, cracks forming around the porcelain surface.

As Percy hits the center of the other one, it reacts even more strongly - whipping back across the arena and curling up like some great, dead spider. hand. Steel doesn't seem to have the energy to summon them again, starting to waver.

[ Between all of their plans, they'll be able to figure it out: hitting one of the illusions causes it to dispel, and Prompto's illuminate does something similar - it seems they aren't able to maintain themselves after taking any sort of real damage.

Estinien will notice too, that one of them is just very slightly faster than the others, and it will react accordingly - with pain - to fire. Soon enough, there's only the one (real) one left.

[ STRAIGHT UP SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS between all the calming that's happening and the wearing down with actual fighting, she's just like. Okay. This is happening I guess. It's really hard to continue to be angry in the face of this.

She's tired, stumbling, but waves a hand to summon another stormy eye, and all of the cat band turns into sakura petals and floats off, their bright tune carried on the wind, but she doesn't seem angry anymore. Just tired.

[ Between everyone else’s attacks and distractions and her fading energy, the gambit is a success. She winces and the sword is separated from her hand - and in that moment there’s a look of confusion, like she doesn’t quite understand how that happened.

So maybe it never has before. It goes flying off to the other side of the arena, and she drops to one knee.

If she doesn't have a weapon to attack with, it seems as if you might be successfully done here. ]

[ After the barrage of attacks both physical and ... mental, the anger is faded, replaced with something else - acceptance, maybe - her sword pushed out of her hands to the other side of the arena, the lack of will to truly fight these people anymore.

They can hug her if they wish, she isn't resisting at this point, but she isn't reciprocating, just quietly standing there. But at least she's not trying to kill anyone anymore? It doesn't seem as if she ever had truly deadly intent. She did use her ult on Bread.

Enough!

[ Steel - or whatever her name is at this moment - drops to her knees, breathing hard. With her last burst of energy, she pushes back everyone standing too close to herself (even you, group huggers). It doesn’t hurt, but you’re pushed away towards the edges of the arena. Every pattern in the sand is scuffed, the torii gates and palaces and trees at the edges all retreat back into nothingness and dust.

There’s a little cat band playing that abruptly stops, the last notes of Mambo No. 5 fading into silence. The deep gorge in the middle of the arena beginning to stitch itself back together already, all of the energy in the air starting to disperse - suddenly it feels almost oppressively empty in here again, all of the pink and red and orange fading away from the edges, the tears in reality reforming themselves.

She stands on her feet again, ignoring all of you to go retrieve her sword, and then pulling up another pink quartz arch and stopping in front of it, observing you all.]

If this …

[ she stops, halting, as if she’s not used to admitting being … possibly wrong? ]

If this is truly what you desire, then I will not stand in your way. I suppose I have … some considerations to make.

[ And then she walks through the arch, shutting it behind her. You are all free to exit the arena, and you’ll find your color powers are restored to their normal levels. whomp whomp. You might be a little bruised and battered, but it seems she never truly had the intent to kill: nothing will be life-threatening in terms of injuries. But it was fun while it lasted, right? ]

[Wao! Sugoi! Something is happening in the Purikura station!

Which is to say, while you wander through the Purikura studio, you may hear a soft thump — followed by the sound of curtains parting. Follow the sound to its source and you will find Nogiku, falling out of one of the Purikura booths and landing on the floor face first with a wet plop.

Although her outfit is very lovely, it is also absolutely torn the fuck up and soaked in blood. Shards of glass cling to her body while blood slowly pools around her left arm and knee. Said arm seems to be barely attached to the rest of her body, hanging on by a sliver of flesh and a prayer. This is probably fine.

Except...? She is not moving.

But she is not the only one who will emerge from this booth, as she is shortly followed by...]

[Itsuki! Sliding out next, dressed in a yeehaw cowboy outfit that's clearly seen better days. His left shoulder is drenched in blood, leaving a nasty streak of blood on the wall of this poor purikura booth.

actually his entire face is covered in blood, probably thanks to the long cuts stretching from the side of his forehead to his chin, but we're cool. nothing life-threatening...

he's also completely out of it as he slides on out the rest of the way out of the booth, and then lands on Nogiku. oof.]

[ a shutter sound goes off as the purikura booth continues to snap the cutest photos of the clique, and then... another cowboy slides from the booth with a faint, pained groan. the hat finally falls from his head as he lands beside nogiku, unmoving.

his clothes are torn to shreds on one shoulder, slashed on the other, and where they're more or less intact - a dark spot is slowly spreading on the back of his vest, around a small hole. underneath him, a small pool of blood starts to gather. it's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from, but his hair looks stained, too? hm.

there's another muted sound as the camera takes one last shot. ]

[Kumon runs out of the booth in another cowboy outfit, it seems ripped at several places. Blood splatters here and there and a large rip in his shoulder and arm. Kumon just manages to step over the pile of bodies right outside the door.

He glances back at the door way before fulling doubling over, breathing hard.

Kumon takes in one deep breath and then screams at the top of his lungs-]

HELP!

clarte is rushing over, taking out bandages and whatnot as they do.]

Are you all right...!? [like, no, but SO MANY OF YOU ARE UNMOVING?] Who needs attention first?

Anyways he's going to Kazu first to press against his wound ]
