[ here is percy and he will tell the tale of their sordid adventure. ]
We were taken through an archway to a forest of... talking animals. [ wrinkling his nose ] They told us that the owner of a nearby cottage could perhaps help us if we waited long enough. We just ended up being stuck in the cottage for a week instead with a cabinet full of weapons and a bad smut book.
Eventually, we were able to leave, and encountered a witch in a hut. She said she would offer us help in exchange for a bargain. She was quite dramatic about it and... rude. She sniffed us a lot... [ :| ] Eventually, she gave us these small dolls, semblances of those we were looking for, but it wasn't long before we were separated in a rather large wood full of bramble full of all sorts of illusions.
[ he hums ] When had to separate after that once more, into four separate tunnels. I can only speak for myself, but it felt as though a couple of weeks had passed going through that tunnel, in a place i knew well... though I didn't tire or grow hungry, I simply felt as though time had passed. We reunited when we made it out at an oasis after that.
It was full of animals in all shapes and colors, all species, even ones I'm certain I've never seen before, but just beyond them we could see some animals had been petrified... and then... some people as well. [ he pauses ] Turns out there were monsters that could turn you to stone if you held their gaze long enough.
[ there's a moment where he just kind of rubs his eyes under his glasses. ] You can assume what happened next—we... had to fight them and ended up defeating them all... despite everything. As it turns out, Shale's family was there, among the stone statues of our friends. They had a staff with a large pink crystal on it, which was able to reverse the petrification and send us home. We were able to bring it with us and have since returned it to him.
[ HE'LL JUST. GLANCE AT THE OTHER THREE if they want to throw in. this is just the general gist of their adventure. ]
