MINGLE

A bittersweet victory, isn't it? You solved everything this past weekend. No mysteries were left unsolved, and now things seem to have settled down. Of course, there's surely plenty on your mind by now. As always though, time marches on. You must keep moving ever onward.

At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. The Prism is opening itself to you all, showing you what it's capable of, and providing you with space to explore.

For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own. But even before you leave the apartments, perhaps you'd like to pay a visit to the gumball machine in the lobby.

Strange. Some of you may have gained or lost a color since this time last week, but it's not like many of you will ever tell. In fact, many of you are very, very bad at sharing. Many of you continually suppress your own emotions whether for the sake of others, or in order to go unnoticed. It's hard to say what your motivations are sometimes. This week, however, the suppression... isn't exactly for the best. You may feel a strange twinge in your chest, a slightly uncomfortable tickle in your throat, and then before you can stop it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. All different shades, all representing your hidden feelings, this disease takes its hold and infects everyone in the Prism. Too bad the timing isn't always the most convenient either.

Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

Things of note:
► This week's effect is hanahaki! Yup. For all suppressed emotions characters may be feeling, after some time they'll find themselves coughing up flowers in different colors representing those feelings.
► The flowers can be any type you want for the aesthetic. It can be one or two flowers, or it can be a lot of them. Whichever way you wish to play it is fine.
► Moida submissions continue to be open!

MONDAY, MORNING

► The clucking hens are gone, but all day, you will mildly (and harmlessly) start to spit up flames when something makes you angry. Your lovely flowers are on fire now.

► The necklace is gone from the back alley shrine, but a yellow silk scarf has been left there.

► The medbay has five pods now! What a relief! There’s also a new cabinet containing minor poison antidotes.

MONDAY, AFTERNEVENING

► Two notes have been posted at the meeting hall, along with pens.

► Baskets have been placed in the back alley! They have been labeled with names, but everyone whose name is written on one of these baskets is dead? You would have to look inside each basket to see the contents of it and that would be rude, but you do notice that one of these baskets contains just a whole ass television.

► There are also just a few trash bags stuffed with...what? Trash, presumably? They're sitting out here in the back alley now, too.

► There are some new notes in the back alley, too.

TUESDAY, MORNING

► Scattered about in the outdoor areas of the prism, you will find some little beds of smiley flowers. These little guys are gently humming a lullaby for you. If you listen to their song, you'll get the urge to curl up in the flowers and take a nap. Nothing else happens, you just get a free nap.

► A dino t-shirt, dino grabber, and and axolotl stuffie has been left in the back alley.

► But no one else can have nice things, because all of the dinosaur sticky hands have been taken from Jurassic Park, as well as all of the left ice skates on the mountain, all of the satellites on the table in the moon base, and a lot of the alcohol in the bar.

► Party City is on fire. There's a lot of melted plastic smell in here. Most of the fire has burned off, leaving behind charred costumes and melted balloons, but there's still an active fire in the paper plates and crepe paper aisles.

► If you happen to wander by the volcano, you'll also smell more of a plastic burning smell than usual. And you might even stumble upon the remains of a plastic sticky hand or a melting ice skate or the remains of a glass bottle here and there before they vanish into the lava.

TUESDAY, EVENING

► Several paintings have been left by the shrine! There are small individual portraits of each of the dead and one joint one of a certain duo because some of you guys have an agenda.

► The skatepark has been graffiti'd everywhere with thick, heavy paint. In the big skating bowl, there's an enormous logo with some smaller symbols hidden around the park in big, colorful splashes. Decorating the half pipe are enormous dragons in red, green, black, blue, and white, each rendered in grand magnificence befitting their power. The blue and white one have red splashes spattered all over their eyes and throats. If you can get mad air on the half pipe, you can see that it says in big, bold, messy letters FUCK SHIT UP!!!!! high up on an overhang.

► The sword room has been defiled with boxes and boxes of plastic cutlery knives. Those aren't swords! What are you doing!

► The music room has been totally fucked up. Everything in there is in varying states of rot and decay. Gross!

► A stern notice has been posted at the meeting hall.

WEDNESDAY, MORNING

► You really wake up this morning on the wrong side of the bed. Minor irritations are enraging you today, you have very little patience and you'd like to take these feelings out on something or someone.

► A large duffel bag has been left in the back alley. Who knows what's in there! More trash?

► The plastic cutlery has been removed from the swoom. A sign reads:

pick another room to mess up or lose a finger, there's plenty of them (rooms, you only have so many fingers)

► Someone has put out the fire at Party City and threw out any fire-damaged debris. Which was most things. So anyway, a lot of the contents of Party City have been thrown out and what's left is wet.

► Someone has tried to clean up the music room, but almost everything in there has been damaged beyond repair, and has now been thrown out. There are a few classic rock albums that have been patched if you'd like those, and also one tuba. There's still a hole in the wall here that leads to blank nothingness.

► Someone has scrubbed off most of the graffiti in the skate park. Wow! A real disagreement is playing out between some of you in real time in the property damage/theft submissions.

► New notes have appeared in the back alley.

THURSDAY, MORNING

► A gentle rain of sakura blossoms is falling everywhere in the prism. As they blow past, you idly wonder if senpai will ever notice you.

► Every time you try to go through a door today, you wind up bonking your head or stubbing your toe. Ouch!

► The art room is in a shambles, by the way.

► A note has been posted in the apartment lobby:

If you’ve found anything that the residents don’t recognize, or haven’t claimed, try leaving it in the back alley. Underwear, weird hats, clockwork, etc? Back alley it. Seriously, did someone else find more underwear? Why did they lose so much underwear?

► A new graffiti message has appeared on the back alley wall:

go to the volcano on monday and you will find crow. he's looking better -- literally, his wounds are just scars and shallow, healed over cuts now thank you medbay, and he seems fairly relaxed.

he's also just sat on a chair. kicked back, arms foldered, legs crossed with a pair of sunglasses on. just chilling on this chair in the middle of the volcano area.

[ i also really only need one prompt, and it's the fucking MOON. but i'm splitting it up anyway, because it's the MOON and danny has a lot of ground to cover.

As soon as Danny enters the door into the base, he realizes what this is and immediately just says: ]

[ Danny is just wandering around the moon with a look of awe and wonder on his face. As he goes, he periodically barfs up a few vibrant butterfly orchids, leaving behind a recognizable trail. Should he be worried about the barfing? Maybe.

But more important is OBSERVING THE BEAUTY OF THE MOON. ]

This is incredible!! I've always dreamed of this.

[ he snaps photos of the Earth from here. or, whatever planet it is. close enough. He also: leans down to drag a finger through the dirt, then pops it into his mouth. ]

c. SHREDDING

[ Later, you might find Danny at a moon crater with a skateboard! ]

This is gonna be. So. Sick.

[ he clearly has no idea how to ride a skateboard, but he does it anyway, into the crater. It's a lot easier to keep his balance on than at the skate park last week, and he gets THE SICKEST AIR.

This is him whooping for joy as he sails up in the air...and then laughing as he gently crashes down because no fucking way does this boy know how to land on a skateboard. ]

I bet the astronauts wish they could do this!!

[ the fit. anyways. percy is here and has two legs now! wow! he is taking as many pictures of dinosaurs as he possibly can from his place hidden in a tree. he's like jane-from-tarzan-ing it with his sketchbook, occasionally making himself more comfortable to sketch some duck-billed dinos drinking from a nearby pond.

[ percy is just admiring a lot of swords here, and maybe taking into account some of their designs and shapes. he looks like he's rather happy and calm here, maybe a few pink petals at his feet, but nothing too crazy.

A. ITS JUST DINOSAURS

[Throughout the week. Hot Pants can almost always be found at Jurassic Park. She also has taken a liking to wearing a few of the shop t-shirts throughout the week. Fun! She does manage to keep her distance from the predators (maybe with a familiarity that seems a little suspect), but otherwise she...seems to be having a good time? Maybe? Her face is as stony as ever, though.]
