WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was real considering how abandoned the entire place looks. [ flatly: ] Maybe there's even a demon right around the corner... we should go check.
[ percy???? ]
no subject
No we shouldn't!? Demons don't exist!
no subject
They most certainly do. Besides, we don't now what's in this place. There certainly could be some. Ghosts. Devils. I could go on.
[ his stomach growls loudly. ]
There's one right now.
no subject
[ His stomach growling gets her to jump, heart nearly leaping out of her chest. ]
... A cruel, hangry man. I see.

[She just stares at her for a moment, before shaking her head.]
You don't have to apologize.

This is a very odd place, isn't it?
no subject
[She tilts her head, considering.]
It doesn't feel like a "real" world to me.
no subject
I can agree with that. Though it... doesn't seem virtual, either, at least not what I'm used to.

[look he can't confirm or deny the bloodstains but he can at least try to like. escort her away]
no subject
If I just left then I wouldn't be of much help with inspecting the area, would I?
...
[ But she's also frozen in place. Fuck. ]
Can I hold onto your sleeve... ?
no subject
he'll unfurl his left sleeve since they were originally rolled up, and offer his elbow out to her so she has more room to hold onto him as much or as little as she'd like]
Sure. Let's go together.
no subject
Thank you... I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience.

This whole place looks like a movie set, so. Sure. Maybe.

[ That explains why it's like a bunch of random areas all squished together.
And even if it's not true, Marie is going to just go with it to calm down. ]
