GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.

Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.

Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.

Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

chroma! While characters have access to the locations available, they do not have access to anything else including their home items. Please note that characters do not know what their primary color or complementary colors are as of yet, and IC profiles are not in-play at this time.

Things of note!

► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.

Hmm... Do you think there's a place like that here? It seems like the starting point, so maybe there's some beds around?

I don't know about beds, but it won't hurt to look. If there aren't any, I'm sure we can improvise something.

Woah... usually an isekai only has one person transported into the world... I wonder if stuff's super dire.

Y'know the kinda stories where somebody gets transported into another world, and then God or something goes "I will now bless you with SUPER OP powers so you can save it!"

Hmm, well... even when someone isn't here, you can sometimes figure out what they'd do if you think about it a little, can't you? What do you think he would say to you right now if he was standing here with you?

Hmm... What would Itaru do in this kinda situation... I think he'd say "go to the nearest village and talk to all the NPCs."

Eeeh.... well I guess it's not really a video game, but Itaru would probably talk about it like that. It means people who are non player characters, that you can get information from!

Looking for locals probably isn't a bad idea, though I have to admit I'm concerned about your fever.

It'll probably break by tomorrow.

I'll be checking on you to ensure that it does. It's a shame I don't have my medical supplies with me... I know a few remedies that are good for bringing down fevers.
