WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

Have you ever been here before?
[they will simply continue to communicate this way like clowns]
no subject
I haven't. Is this your home?
[in the tube.....]
no subject
[In the other side of the tube......]
no subject
Japan!! Amazing!
What ['YEAR' HE ALMOST ASKED] is your favorite part about your home?!
[NICE SAVE
i'm sorry he got so excited he's forgotten to answer her question]
no subject
Um... [thinking] It's close to Tokyo? Kawagoe is okay. There was a John Lennon museum...?
no subject
I don't know who John Lennon is, but I imagine he was a great warrior!
[BUZEN NO]
no subject
He was a musician. [A GREAT WARRIOR FOR PEACE] You know Tokyo?
no subject
i'm sorry he looks surprised before he puts two and two together]
Oh, you're a person!
[stupid]
Ahaha, I do know Tokyo! Though I never get to stay very long.
no subject
Uh... yeah? [SHE'S A HUMAN. Unfortunate.] Are you from the country, or something?
[There are more cities, but... you know.]
no subject
[that's honesty]
Though I am rather fond of the ocean.

tuxedo mask........]
Oh. [SHE ACCEPTS THIS] The beach is nice during summer vacation. I didn't see an ocean anywhere here, though.
no subject
Ahah, if there was one, wouldn't that be too nice?
It seems they've mostly included a lot of... really confusing things here. I don't understand a lot of them.
no subject
[THEIR SPOOKY WORLD.]
Um. Which things...? Everything feels like we're in a horror movie...
no subject
But are you scared...? Do you want to hold onto me?
[the way he means this purely to comfort and not as a come on]
no subject
[She glances around. Well... it's a little weird, but she's seen and heard of places like this in books and movies.
Her head snaps back at him, and her face gets EXTREMELY RED.]
What...?! No! Why?!
no subject
where is kuwana please explain what happens when a girl's face looks like a tomato]
In case you're nervous about anything frightening - I can hold onto your hand, or you can hold onto me. Sometimes that type of thing can be handled better if you're close to someone, right?
But if you don't want to, that's fine. I just wanted to make sure you don't feel scared.

and then just immediately turns and paces away. She doesn’t go very far, but far enough to……..pace. She smacks both cheeks lightly with her palms, muttering quietly. Finally, she stops… and comes reluctantly back.]
Um. [She will just… reach out to hold onto his sleeve above his elbow.] We can look around.
Are you a… soldier or something?
no subject
he has no idea what just happened so he'll just wait for her to return. he holds his elbow out to her so that it's easier for her to reach his sleeve, and rest his other hand atop hers reassuringly for a moment before dropping it.]
Let's go then - you can let me know when you want to leave.
[he won't keep her here... but time to go explore!]
A soldier... Something like that. I'm a traveler, but sometimes I end up in situations where I have to fight or protect people.
no subject
It's fine, sometimes you're a teenage girl.]
Oh. It just looked like you were wearing a uniform. [Like the closest thing she can think to any kind of uniform. She just accepts fighting and protecting as being a weird thing weird dream people do.] Um.
You weren't asleep before you got here, were you?
