WEEKEND ZERO: OVERFLOW
WOW

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

tomato-san (no)
Asleep...?
Not that I can recall - why do you ask?
no subject
Because this seems like a dream, and I was asleep before I woke up here.
no subject
Mine are normally about running.
no subject
[WHY WOULD HE JUST SAY "RUNNING" WITH NO CLARIFICATION?]
I dunno. I don't usually dream about wild adventures like this. Like... Alice in Wonderland things.
no subject
[just. going fast. help,]
Ah... So you think you're in a dream right now?
no subject
[THIS ISN'T A QUESTION?]
Well, I thought I was. I was asleep before I woke up here, with Tatara and Akagi-san, but... other people don't think so.
no subject
[and he winks at her like they're sharing some kind of stupid secret]
Hmm... If it isn't a dream... what do you think you'd do?
no subject
She makes a weird, but also extremely embarrassed face. HELLO, SIR?]
...I. [WELL.] I don't know. I never though... anything like this would ever happen.
no subject
even if he saw the face he wouldn't understand anything]
... it's probably a bit unnerving, right?
I mean... if I could guess.
no subject
Yeah. No one else is here... Tatara, Mako-san, Hyoudou-san...
[She watches him look at the weird goo, and then turns to glance over the room. Why is this creepy old laboratory here?! CLOUD AGAIN?]
Do you know anyone else here?
no subject
he shakes his head]
No... I don't. I'm alright handling things on my own, but I'm already starting to miss their company.
Well, at least people here have been nice.
no subject
... [She thinks about the several people she's met already. Hm.] Some of them.
Were you with them before you came here?
no subject
[he'll fight! he doesn't know her name but he'll fight!]
But that's right - well, one of them. But normally we aren't apart for all that long...
no subject
[BUZEN PLEASE.]
One of them...? If we're really not dreaming, then... I guess we left them behind.
no subject
[he's frowning....]
... well, we've only done so for now. I'm sure we'll find our way back to them soon enough.
no subject
[She looks up and around in a sort of hesitant way.] I don't know his name. The stupid jerk with tall, pointy hair. Taller, in a black shirt. [Garou.]
Estinien-san isn't mean, but he's kind of rude.
no subject
[he doesn't know garou's name either help]
But that sounds right from how I interacted with Esti-san too...
no subject
I did already. We got into a fight. I don't know what his problem is, but I'll fix it if he keeps bothering me.
Estinien-san tried to help me find my cellphone. [She suckered him into it really.] But... it's not here.
no subject
[and buzen tries to have a semi-decent read on people]
Cellphone...?
[oh no he's gonna blow his very convincing human cover]
no subject
Oh, um. [BUZEN HAS LUCKED OUT THIS ONE TIME. She has met too many cosplayers here who don’t know a single thing about anything, so now she accepts it.] It’s something that lets you talk to people far away. Or send them a message.
I was going to try to call Tatara, or Hyoudou sensei, or my parents.
no subject
Oh! I see... That would be useful. What does it look like?
I'll try to help you find it.
