WEEK SIX: MINGLE
MINGLE

A bittersweet victory, isn't it? You solved everything this past weekend. No mysteries were left unsolved, and now things seem to have settled down. Of course, there's surely plenty on your mind by now. As always though, time marches on. You must keep moving ever onward.
At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. The Prism is opening itself to you all, showing you what it's capable of, and providing you with space to explore.
For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own. But even before you leave the apartments, perhaps you'd like to pay a visit to the gumball machine in the lobby.
Strange. Some of you may have gained or lost a color since this time last week, but it's not like many of you will ever tell. In fact, many of you are very, very bad at sharing. Many of you continually suppress your own emotions whether for the sake of others, or in order to go unnoticed. It's hard to say what your motivations are sometimes. This week, however, the suppression... isn't exactly for the best. You may feel a strange twinge in your chest, a slightly uncomfortable tickle in your throat, and then before you can stop it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. All different shades, all representing your hidden feelings, this disease takes its hold and infects everyone in the Prism. Too bad the timing isn't always the most convenient either.
Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

Welcome to your week six mingle for

Things of note:
► This week's effect is hanahaki! Yup. For all suppressed emotions characters may be feeling, after some time they'll find themselves coughing up flowers in different colors representing those feelings.
► The flowers can be any type you want for the aesthetic. It can be one or two flowers, or it can be a lot of them. Whichever way you wish to play it is fine.
► Moida submissions continue to be open!
► More to come... keep your eyes and ears open.

It's as Vax said - we need to help the Residents realize they don't belong here, and important that we don't become complacent, or we might become stuck here as well. Apart from making sure to return the items we find on the adventures we go on to the Residents, Atsushi told me it might be important for them to talk to each other about leaving here or going home. He was also able to confirm that the Residents we have not met in person are with the dead, but it didn't sound like they've had their memories tampered with in the same way.
When we asked about the refractions, he confirmed they're caused by an imbalance in color. Evidently, one of the Residents killed another in the past, and the refractions may be an unintended side effect of this. I also asked him whether they had any ideas about how to bring those we've lost back to us, or about how we might all leave this place, and he did not answer, so I imagine he didn't know a sure way. But he did mention that the idea of risk, specifically risk that is used to change, may be important. He said that nothing will change if we continue to accept the Prism the way it is. Evidently, Chang Geng suggested destroying parts of the Prism and replacing it with our own creations - that there needs to be some kind of disruption each week if we want to gain control of this place.
[thinking, thinking...]
That being said, I would caution against doing anything drastic all at once. I don't want to make enemies of the Residents on this side by starting to destroy things immediately. Hopefully, we will receive more letters or notes that will confirm or clarify this idea... And Atsushi made sure to specify that when talking about destruction or disruption, he did not mean violence of any kind.

So we should have an idea of exactly what we're doing.

[It's probably way too dangerous, but he can't not mention it, at least.]

I don't think he would have told me this if he weren't sure it was the right way to go, but - he did say it right before we ran out of time, and I didn't have a chance to ask him to clarify exactly what parts of the Prism he meant. That's worth bearing in mind.

[Like. The dojo. The stage and the art room. The sword room, even if that already existed.]

Even if it does not work, I do not think trying would hurt anything.
