WEEK SIX: MINGLE

MINGLE

A bittersweet victory, isn't it? You solved everything this past weekend. No mysteries were left unsolved, and now things seem to have settled down. Of course, there's surely plenty on your mind by now. As always though, time marches on. You must keep moving ever onward.

At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. The Prism is opening itself to you all, showing you what it's capable of, and providing you with space to explore.

For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own. But even before you leave the apartments, perhaps you'd like to pay a visit to the gumball machine in the lobby.

Strange. Some of you may have gained or lost a color since this time last week, but it's not like many of you will ever tell. In fact, many of you are very, very bad at sharing. Many of you continually suppress your own emotions whether for the sake of others, or in order to go unnoticed. It's hard to say what your motivations are sometimes. This week, however, the suppression... isn't exactly for the best. You may feel a strange twinge in your chest, a slightly uncomfortable tickle in your throat, and then before you can stop it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. All different shades, all representing your hidden feelings, this disease takes its hold and infects everyone in the Prism. Too bad the timing isn't always the most convenient either.

Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

Welcome to your week six mingle for [community profile] chroma!

Things of note:
► This week's effect is hanahaki! Yup. For all suppressed emotions characters may be feeling, after some time they'll find themselves coughing up flowers in different colors representing those feelings.
► The flowers can be any type you want for the aesthetic. It can be one or two flowers, or it can be a lot of them. Whichever way you wish to play it is fine.
Moida submissions continue to be open!
► More to come... keep your eyes and ears open.

[Trotting over to take a look at this spread! If he keeps his body moving and his mind occupied at all times, then he won't fall into a bottomless pit of frustration and lashing out for no reason.]

You got a big plan for those? Are you gonna make one giant card or something?

Gonna cut out shapes to represent each resident and also some of the places in the prism, then hang them on the string!

[ thinks. nods. ]

Could include shapes for us too and for our dead.

Oh! That's actually a cute idea...

[Unlike the myriad of passive-aggressive bullying and counter-bullying that's been happening all around him...]

I think that'd be good, too - especially for those guys. The more we remember 'em and talk about 'em, the better, right?

Exactly! And there's the symbols in the alley, we could use those to represent them.

[ nods and jots this down in her sketchbook ]

Hmm...could include little sayings on the back of the shapes too, maybe?

Ooh, smart! Maybe we could crowdsource the sayings? Get a bunch of people to say some cute, nice things. Oh - where're you gonna hang the string up, anyway? Maybe we should put it on that creepy tree to kinda brighten it up.

[Their central node tree...]

I think that's a good idea! [ nods ] The tree is a good idea, bring a little life to it and the rest of the area.

[ their tree... ]

[THEIR NASTY POTENTIALLY CURSED TREE...]

Yeah, could use some color in there. So! Need help cutting out the shapes?
