WEEK SIX: MINGLE
MINGLE
A bittersweet victory, isn't it? You solved everything this past weekend. No mysteries were left unsolved, and now things seem to have settled down. Of course, there's surely plenty on your mind by now. As always though, time marches on. You must keep moving ever onward.
At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. The Prism is opening itself to you all, showing you what it's capable of, and providing you with space to explore.
For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own. But even before you leave the apartments, perhaps you'd like to pay a visit to the gumball machine in the lobby.
Strange. Some of you may have gained or lost a color since this time last week, but it's not like many of you will ever tell. In fact, many of you are very, very bad at sharing. Many of you continually suppress your own emotions whether for the sake of others, or in order to go unnoticed. It's hard to say what your motivations are sometimes. This week, however, the suppression... isn't exactly for the best. You may feel a strange twinge in your chest, a slightly uncomfortable tickle in your throat, and then before you can stop it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. All different shades, all representing your hidden feelings, this disease takes its hold and infects everyone in the Prism. Too bad the timing isn't always the most convenient either.
Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

chroma! Things of note:
► This week's effect is hanahaki! Yup. For all suppressed emotions characters may be feeling, after some time they'll find themselves coughing up flowers in different colors representing those feelings.
► The flowers can be any type you want for the aesthetic. It can be one or two flowers, or it can be a lot of them. Whichever way you wish to play it is fine.
► Moida submissions continue to be open!
► More to come... keep your eyes and ears open.
goth squad aka combat/distraction
vax: will be sneaking up on raiden while she's distracted by lightning / another combat group / whatever and going for a sneak attack, then engaging raiden in aerial combat with his dagger dagger daggers. he'll be switching between melee and ranged hits, and will be moving and flying around like an annoying bird with knives, then moving in and out of hiding as necessary to continue trying to use the distraction to get sneak attacks in when he can.
percy: going to use ranged lightning attacks to keep her off of vax in the sky by basically clashing with her electricity or using his verdant complementary to create vines to block strikes if possible (our lightning could totally collide and be really really cool and stuff, I think doing a clash would be really fun like once or twice if mod wants, or using a vine forces him to have to ground the electricity, which would be pretty dope). will also use ranged electricity finger guns pew pew. will circle her and create openings for big dps to punch through.

Those daggers, between the distraction groups and her attention pulled by Emet and Percy, hit their mark - hitting with a thunk, but she's so angry, determined, willful that it doesn't seem to slow her down quite yet.
Yeah, totally the lightning collides and it's extremely cool and anime. It burns in the air, too bright to look at, and everything feels static-y. If you combined this with some other element, something interesting could happen?
Anyway you're lucky Raiden isn't immune to electro. The sword tangles in the vines and violent crashes of electricity thrum into the ground around their feet, which starts to glow very ominously purple. Your feet are on the ground, and the ground is currently starting to spark, and the air smells heavily of ozone. There's a few spots where the ground isn't lit up, but you might not make it there in time.
How do you deal with it when the entire arena lights up with a bright flash of electricity under your feet? ]

vax: is picking percy off of the ground pretty much the second the air starts to smell ozone-y also when percy starts yelling jenga - he's gonna fly him up and deposit him on top of one of the tori gates. and then immediately turn around and imbue one of his daggers with marine to fling it at raiden for some conducted electricity damage. i dont play genshin i think this has a fancy name. im gomen.
emet: did you know dark knight abilities specifically work well against magic damage? because that's good news for him right now. he's staying where he is and shielding himself, not willing to move out of range while he's busy keeping her attention; he casts his own floor aoe while he's standing his ground, though he channels one of his own colors into it instead of dark energy; a greyish-green shade pools at their feet, as plants begin to bloom and reach upward.

dendro isn's in the game yet so I have no idea if it interacts with electro WHO'S TO SAY, but she has to dash backwards again - moving so fast she almost seems to disappear. That circle around her back is filling rapidly, but ...
A huge pair of puppet hand appears from beneath her feet, looking to swat Percy off the top of the gate and maybe knock Vax to the ground, and then one coming down to try and crush Emet beneath it. ]

thankfully vax's mom said he gets to have FOUR luck points so he will barrel roll out of the way of getting grabbed, which is unfortunate for percy who probably needs to like set up his massive gun. he's gonna have to keep percy from fucking dying so he's gonna drop down and try and land in the puppet hand before it can swat him and leap off of it to try and catch percy so he doesn't mcfucking die
in the puppet hand, he yells FUCK
percy: with a 9 percy is going to get absolutely slapped off the torii, but at least he's apparently taking vax with him. he's going to scream as they're flying through the air and then with a sudden flash of crystalline, here is a wonderful shield blanketing them both so impact hurts less if they hit the ground (it's in the shape of a familiar cloak, though it isn't the vestige itself). he's going to fire bad news again with a 24 to attempt to hit the center of the mechanized palm so it can't swat them again since emet mcfucking stabbed his.....

As Percy hits the center of the other one, it reacts even more strongly - whipping back across the arena and curling up like some great, dead spider. hand. Steel doesn't seem to have the energy to summon them again, starting to waver.
