A bittersweet victory, isn't it? You solved everything this past weekend. No mysteries were left unsolved, and now things seem to have settled down. Of course, there's surely plenty on your mind by now. As always though, time marches on. You must keep moving ever onward.

At the far end of the park in the central node, you'll hear the faint sound of rumbling as something new appears. The Prism is opening itself to you all, showing you what it's capable of, and providing you with space to explore.

For those of you feeling particularly daring, you are free to explore a bit further on your own. But even before you leave the apartments, perhaps you'd like to pay a visit to the gumball machine in the lobby.

Strange. Some of you may have gained or lost a color since this time last week, but it's not like many of you will ever tell. In fact, many of you are very, very bad at sharing. Many of you continually suppress your own emotions whether for the sake of others, or in order to go unnoticed. It's hard to say what your motivations are sometimes. This week, however, the suppression... isn't exactly for the best. You may feel a strange twinge in your chest, a slightly uncomfortable tickle in your throat, and then before you can stop it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. All different shades, all representing your hidden feelings, this disease takes its hold and infects everyone in the Prism. Too bad the timing isn't always the most convenient either.

Finally, as always, you may contact the residents at any time. They may even have something new for you to do.

Things of note:
► This week's effect is hanahaki! Yup. For all suppressed emotions characters may be feeling, after some time they'll find themselves coughing up flowers in different colors representing those feelings.
► The flowers can be any type you want for the aesthetic. It can be one or two flowers, or it can be a lot of them. Whichever way you wish to play it is fine.
► Moida submissions continue to be open!

[as yasusada pulls kashuu up, vin gets dragged up since she's holding onto him, which means ruby has a chance to grab onto her and tug. as she gets pulled up, it's going to become pretty obvious that there's some stuff going on here, wow.

why did she say him before, for starters? it might be because, judging on the deep claw marks scratching over both of her eyes, she can't actually see anything. as for why she looks so incredibly unsteady as she moves onto the volcano, there's a variety of reasons! one might be the blood loss - she has a bad looking bite wound in one arm, and the other arm is both burned and has what looks like a stab wound. there are also more claw marks scratching over her knee, and just - general scratches, scrapes and bruises everywhere.

the biggest indicator of why she looks so unsteady, though, is probably the sizable wound in her chest.

leans over and throws up on the ground. it's fine.]

[ holy fuck this fire is TERRIBLE at first vax looks like he's about to start cussing estinien out but -

when it starts to fade away he just snaps his head up and looks at estinien. even if he can't get the words out, the expression on his face is so desperately thankful it probably says everything. ]

[ Wouldn't it have been so funny if I just went rogue and murdered Vin right here instead. Wild.

Estinien catches the look and gives Vax a look with wrinkled nose like 'don't look at me about it', but given that his attention is quickly shifted over to Vin -- he just waves him off.

[ gets her in her arms and holds her close, gently at possible. then looks for vax!! ]

Vax!!

[ pushes her hair out of her face, then tears a piece of her cape off and applies pressure to the chest wound.

shakes.]

What the fuck happened -

[ like, obviously, a field trip but also holy SHIT his VIN

vax has exactly enough time to shove in and help, immediately rushing to vin and ruby -- if he coughs up a spray of plum-purple flower blossoms, well, he doesn't even let it stop him as he helps ruby gather vin and lifts her up. ]

It's - It's okay, Vin, it's okay, we're here - I'm right here, we've got you, you're safe, you're gonna be okay -

[ but he nods to ruby immediately. let's get her out of here ]

[ she'll drape her cape over vin and then it's time to GET GOING. ]

[up she goes!! she doesn't resist at all. she's still breathing, at least, but things do not seem that awesome.]

once she's on solid ground, jiuqing's head turns briefly in ruby's direction before she slumps over. it's fine, she's just gonna take a nap. hold your gf, ruby, vin is right there]

[ looks at!!! reaches a hand out to touch her arm. ]

Jiuqing! Hold on...we'll get you to the medbay as fast as possible...

[when ruby touches her arm, she flinches. weird? it looked like there was just that weird black stuff there...

oh. no, when she pulls her hand away, she'll see it's a mixture of fresh blood and that weird black shit.]

[ BRITT STOP. he will carefully hold her hand, just in case she's burnt in any way, in his gloved one. his heart is thrumming hard as he tries to smooth a bit of whatever mess is on her out of her face. ]

I won't, I'll be right here... we're going to have to get you into a pod, but I'll be there the whole time, alright?

[ he's not crying his glasses are just fogging up a little from the heat in the atmosphere ok. ]

[it doesn't seem like she's burnt?

but it's hard to tell under the congealed black substance. when he holds her hand, she holds it in return.

when he does finally let go, he'll realize that the blood substance is just - congealed blood, so much of it that it's turned to black. some of it is older than others. fresh blood comes away on his hand, too.

anyway, she does try to stay awake but
