Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.

Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.

Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.

Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to chroma! While characters have access to the locations available, they do not have access to anything else including their home items. Please note that characters do not know what their primary color or complementary colors are as of yet, and IC profiles are not in-play at this time.

Things of note!

► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.

A lot of people I know would feel bad for your comrade if they ever heard you're comparing him to me.

[Because they all would hate the thought of someone else like November existing anywhere. The world doesn't need two of him! But yeah, although November is definitely a valuable asset and a reliable individual he marches at the beat of his own drum and that annoys some people, really]

Hah, they really shouldn't. He's dealt with a lot worse than a weird comparison or two.

[Kashuu barely even knows Tsurumaru and yet he'd throw that crane under the bus in a hotass second, help.]

Besides, a trait like that really comes in handy in situations like this. Better than just panicking, right? That's when people tend to die.

Very true! [November nods, agreeing. Panic certainly leads nowhere good] Besides, anyone behind our situation would like to see panic. Nothing wrong with no giving that to them.

[He says that because he's not ruling out a terrorist organization is behind this all. That's what he deals with the most, really]

You think they're after something like that? This seems super well-organized if it is some kinda weird kidnapping. They've already pulled off some tough feats, too...
