WEEKEND ZERO: OVERFLOW
WOW

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[though he laughs even as he takes another bite of bad cotton candy]
Ah - but I don't want to bore you with just my things, Ro-san! Or if you don't want to talk about yourself, I understand that too. Some people are more private.

[ So yes, she's a little more private. ]
Won't you tell me about your master?
no subject
... then you don't have to tell me. But I also think you'd be surprised. Though I also think nothing really counts unless it's something you want to share on your own.
[he won't push it though. he's not the type of person to make people talk about things they don't want to.]
My master is a very amusing man. I think some people have a hard time always knowing what he's thinking - but he's kind to me and my comrades, so I don't mind trusting his judgment.

I think I've had enough surprises in the past few hours. Maybe you can earn the right to surprise me if you try hard enough, hm?
[ It's a little teasing. ]
Not everyone can choose their master or who they work with, but if he's kind and you can trust him, that's lucky. Good for you.

Hah! I'll give your heart a chance to calm and then see if I can give you a good surprise instead of a bad one later, then.
I do consider myself very lucky. Even if things get difficult sometimes, I'm still fortunate in who I get to surround myself with at least.

[ Maybe Buzen can actually give her a surprise she'll enjoy. ]
Good company can make a huge difference in how much you endure. I hope the people you've met here have been mostly good company.
