WEEKEND ZERO: OVERFLOW
WOW

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

it's not saturday yet in this thread so they're fine probably.]
Ah, yes. I'm from Daxing. [which means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to him probably. cries in webtoons.] Where are you from, Kashuu?
no subject
Anyway yeah it absolutely doesn't, but at least this isn't the first time he's run into someone from a place he has no idea how to identify!]
Japan, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess you probably haven't heard of it. I haven't heard of Daxing, anyway.

[which is strange. she's pretty decently well-educated, though she hasn't actually left her country before.]
I believe I met someone else who was also from Japan, but I've never heard of anyone from my home mention it before.

[He doesn't know that it's because everyone is weebs.]
Japan's a pretty populous country, but it seems kinda weird for so many of us to be here... Or maybe you guys who aren't from Japan are more like the odd ones out?
no subject
There being quite a few of you from Japan does make me wonder if perhaps whoever is responsible for this hails from there as well, but if that's the case, it truly does make me wonder how those of us who aren't from there got swept up in this.
I suppose there isn't much use in speculating until we find more actual information.
no subject
Yeah... Don't wanna get set on one possibility when there are a bunch more to consider, I guess.
[Around and around some other mirrors he goooes! Everything seems to be going pretty smoothly, outside of the sound of crying... Can't believe in just 24 hours she's gonna be off adventuring like a fool.]

It's good to be open to new perspectives... I just wish we had a little more solid information. But that will come with time, I think.
no subject
It usually does... Hooopefully it'll take, like, no time at all, though.
[HE'S IMPATIENT. AND HATES BEING HERE WITHOUT HIS SWORD.]
