WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[ With a groan, 9S sits up, taking a long moment to regain his bearings and take in his surroundings. When only unfamiliarity dawns upon him though, his head swivels back and forth in confusion, his demeanor instantly more guarded. ]
What—
[ But he trails off, shifting from a sit to a kneel. He's pretty sure this is not where he had been before. There's nothing about this place that feels familiar at all. ]
... Pod? Where are you?
[ Only silence follows. Whoever this 'Pod' is, it doesn't seem as if they'll be responding. ]
Hellooo? [ Nothing. With a frustrated grunt, 9S pushes himself up to his feet. ] Great.
TWO; mansion
[ With no other choice but to search around, 9S eventually finds himself within the mansion. As old and abandoned as it may be, that doesn't seem to bother him in the least. You can either catch him rifling through some of the broken furniture, or spot him crouching in front of the fireplace, a hand extended. ]
... It's not even warm.
THREE; laboratory
[ Once again, the utterly trashed look of the place hardly seems to bother him. At one of the various desks, 9S stands hunched over an open book. Despite the fact his face is covered up, he seems to be focused pretty intently on the contents within the book. ]
FOUR; wildcard me babie
( MAKE SHIT UP or smack me for a pc if you want c: )

[She's just looking over his shoulder. Hi. Hello there.]
no subject
It takes him a belated moment, but eventually he does realize there's just. Someone there. He doesn't jolt, but he does quickly turn, clearly not expecting her to be there. ]
If you wanted to look, you could've just said so.
no subject
[She just glances at him, not surprised by the movement.]
Are you just pretending to read?

Huh? Are you looking for a tri-pod? Didn't bring one with me...
