WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

[well! someone is looking none too pleased about his sudden arrival here! someone is also fucking nine feet tall, so enjoy looking up, sorry about your neck. he takes a look around the area, scowls, and raises a hand, snapping his fingers.
...nothing happens. he tries it again, and still nothing; seems to focus, for a few moments, and comes out of that even more irritated than before.]
How in the world--
[then he looks down, a little more, and finally deigns to pay attention to everyone else who's been stuck here. what. you are all so small.]
And just what are you meant to be?
(2- not mad science just disappointed science)
[we're going to handle the 'i would like to yell at who's in charge here' in intros, probably. so! you may see him in other areas to glance over them as well, but he eventually ends up in the laboratory area, the hood of his robe now pulled up to sort of cover his face (except from your angle, it's probably not hiding anything.) he is not touching anything, just observing, arms folded as he looks the place over critically.]
Unacceptable conditions for research, frankly, even before its apparent abandonment. Is there nothing in this place that was created properly?
2
Whoa -
[ what the fuck this is trippy
anyway he's already shown his cards so: ] Not your usual digs, big guy? [ for so many reasons. ]
no subject
[as if he'd be caught dead working in this kind of facility??
he glances over at vax after he's spoken up, his hood still doing absolutely nothing to hide his face. listen, he made the attempt.]
Are they yours, then?

once he glances her way and spots her, though, there is no hiding. he's coming over there, brow furrowed.]
What in the world happened to you? I distinctly recall you being of a somewhat more substantial size.
[where is hermes what happened is he going to have to just bring her back small and let him fix it]

He waits while Emet goes through all of that, mostly because Emet is intimidatingly tall and he doesn't want to interrupt the guy who already seems annoyed. Especially when he's so big.
But when he's questioned, Atsushi will answer nervously in a quiet voice. Hope your hearing is good, tall man.]
A-Atsushi Nakajima? Unless you mean, um, who I work for?
no subject
[very weird designation for a concept, though.]
But who you work for would be a start, yes.
