WEEKEND ZERO: MINGLE
GREETINGS

Unnerving. That may be the best word to describe how the vibes feel as your sight begins to clear and you find yourself on the ground. The air is chilly, and you don't see anything that may represent the sun or the moon for a sense of time. You look around expecting to find some sort of buildings, wildlife, or anything of use, but your immediate line of vision only shows a sprawling monochrome landscape.
Are you feeling adventurous? As you get to your feet, you have the opportunity to wander further and begin assessing the situation. You'll quickly find that the only thing on your person are the clothes on your back. Traveling will eventually lead you to a few areas, though none of them appear very promising either.
Don't stray too far, however. While there are few hints of plant life (nothing nourishing, nothing satisfying), you won't find much else. There's no food or running water; resources seem scarce. The further you go, the more you begin to feel colder and weaker. Your eyes begin to play tricks on you, and everything ahead of you looks unfocused and even more gray than before. An imminent sense of danger hangs above you...you can't quite pinpoint why, but your gut instinct says there's something else out there just lying beyond your reach.
Perhaps you'll have luck another day. For now, it seems as though your only option is to make use of the areas you do have access to and try to settle in. But don't worry, you aren't alone. There's 35 other people just waiting to see what you'll do next.

Welcome to your weekend zero intro to
Things of note!
► You can find food (cotton candy, stale hot dog buns with no hot dogs, etc) in the carnival, but none of it is filling. It's monochrome, and you're hungry again five minutes later.
► There's water in the mansion but it's kind of grey.
► Seriously, it's cold.
► You arrive in your canon outfit. It is also monochrome, like someone drained the dye out of your clothes.
Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend, and happy settling!

Uwaaaah?! Did I get isekai'd?! Just like in manga?!
Okay! I should definitely look around and see what's going on!
[He takes a step. And immediately falls to the ground?!]

I think I'm just tired 's all.

[That doesn't sound even remotely sarcastic in November 11. Doesn't sound amused, either -- instead he manages to make it sound like he really believes Kumon just threw himself on the ground on purpose. November doesn't think that, really, but hey, he won't judge if someone's first move when taking a look around is examining the firmness of the ground.
He walks up and crouches to get closer to Kumon's level, not even offering a hand. Contractors are crafty. It'd be idiocy to make physical contact with anyone here -- given the abnormality of the situation it's likely one or more people here have some sort of ability that could harm others, after all]
What are your findings?
no subject
Um... the ground's really hard! Definitely nothing like a bed.
[If this stranger is going to ask then he should give some sort of report? Right? That's only polite?]
I don't recommend it!
no subject
[November nods sagely as if what Kumon said is the most valuable information ever]
Can you stand up? Sorry for not offering a hand -- I'm currently battling a bad case of arthritis.
[That's a complete lie, but hey, November judges that with this one an elaborate lie as for why he doesn't offer help to stand up won't be necessary. Something half-assed will do. What matters here is to not make contact with people who may be dangerous, he thinks. If Kumon catches onto that it's a lie November can just play it off as a bad joke, successfully hiding he has his guard up. That's his reasoning, yup]

Hmm... I don't think I hit my head. It's probably something like exhaustion? Maybe I didn't get enough rest last night...

Anyway, Danny watches this from a few feet away and startles at first when he falls, but then has to stifle a laugh. Because, let's be real, that looked really silly. And for once, at least it's not Danny doing it.
Once he's reasonably sure he's not going to actually laugh if he talks, Danny approaches and kneels down to offer a hand. ]
You okay?
